Pills For Tomorrow est un groupe aux accents Shoegaze & Psychédélique originaire de Grenoble. Nourris principalement de la scène anglaise du siècle dernier, ses membres affirment une identité singulière : celle de musiciens-rêveurs, lucides et sincères, pour qui la musique n’est pas une posture, mais une alternative aux pilules du quotidien — une manière d’habiter le monde autrement.

Formé en 2023 il est composé de Nathalie Valion (Chant et Autrice), Laurent Gouviaux (Guitare et composition), Fabrice Brenchenmacher (Guitare et Arrangements), Laurent Prost (Basse) et Augustin Garnier (Batterie).
Le groupe produit en 2024 un premier EP « Castle Rock » de six titres, dont une adaptation de Shadowplay en hommage à Joy Division.

Musicalement, les influences shoegaze et néo-psychédélique (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Mogwai, BJM, The Black Angels, parmi d’autres...) sont clairement assumées. Les guitares dialoguent, mêlant riffs incisifs et sonorités voluptueuses encadrés par une section rythmique efficace, tandis que le chant émerge délicatement pour raconter une époque ou les lendemains ne passent pas toujours sans pilules.

En 2024, le groupe est programmé au festival Musique en Stock (2024), puis se produit en première partie du groupe américain Film School à Paris au Supersonic. Après une première date en Angleterre en juin 2025, il est programmé la même année au « All Dayer Shoegaze Festival » de Londres. 

La production d’un nouvel album de 10 titres débute courant 2025 et l’enregistrement, porté par un « Crowdfunding », est réalisé en septembre 2025 en Italie sous la houlette de Paolo Canaglia (New Candys, Glazyhaze).

La sortie du premier single est prévue en mars 2026, suivi de 2 autres single et un Focus track qui sortira en même temps que l’album fin 2026. 
Quelques dates sont prévues d’ici là, avant d’exposer l’album lors d’une tournée anglaise en en novembre et d’une release party grenobloise en fin d’année.

Pills For Tomorrow is a shoegaze and psychedelic band from Grenoble, France. Drawing mainly from the British scene of the late 20th century, its members embrace a distinctive identity: that of lucid and sincere dreamer-musicians for whom music is not a pose, but an alternative to the pills of everyday life — a way of inhabiting the world differently.

Formed in 2023, the band features Nathalie Valion (vocals and lyrics), Laurent Gouviaux (guitar and composition), Fabrice Brenchenmacher (guitar and arrangements), Laurent Prost (bass), and Augustin Garnier (drums).

In 2024, the band released its first six-track EP, Castle Rock, including an adaptation of Shadowplay as a tribute to Joy Division.

Musically, the shoegaze and neo-psychedelic influences (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Mogwai, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, among others) are clearly embraced. The guitars interact and intertwine, blending sharp riffs with lush textures framed by an effective rhythm section, while the vocals emerge delicately to tell the story of a time when tomorrow does not always come without pills.

In 2024, the band performed at the Musique en Stock Festival, and later opened for the American band Film School in Paris at the Supersonic. After a first show in England in June 2025, the band was also scheduled that same year for the All Dayer Shoegaze Festival in London.

Production of a new ten-track album began in 2025. The recording, supported by a crowdfunding campaign, took place in September 2025 in Italy under the direction of Paolo Canaglia (New Candys, Glazyhaze).

The first single is scheduled for release in March 2026, followed by two additional singles and a focus track to be released alongside the album at the end of 2026.

Several shows are planned in the meantime, before presenting the album during a UK tour in November and a release party in Grenoble later that year.
