Pills For Tomorrow est un groupe de Pop Indie aux accents Shoegaze &Psychédélique originaire de Grenoble. Un univers musical comme alternative aux analgésiques. Une invitation au mystique, aux expériences transcendantales .
Formé en 2021 autour de Laurent Gouviaux et Nathalie Valion (le groupe s'intitule alors Moleskine), deux EP sont autoproduits la même année.
Le premier “Confidence” propose une “Dream pop” minimaliste teintée d'électro. Le second "Memories” présente des textes plus intimistes et des riffs de guitare plus présents.
En 2022, changement de nom, les morceaux évoluent : la patte “Shoegaze” s'affirme, ils prennent une dimension plus planante et Nathalie y déroule son flow nonchalant.
En 2023 Nicolas Delmas (Batteur), Laurent Prost (Bassiste) et Fabrice Brechenmacher (Guitare) rejoignent le projet. Le groupe produit alors plusieurs concerts et prépare la sortie d'un nouvel opus : 6 morceaux sont enregistrés en avril dont une adaptation de "Shadowplay" en hommage à Joy Division.
Les influences shoegaze et néo-psychédélique (BJM, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Mogwai, Spacemen 3, The Black Angels ...) sont assumées et évidentes. Le son de Pills For Tomorrow est une tapisserie complexe et riche. Le groupe mélange des éléments de synthpop, de new wave et de rock alternatif avec des nuances expérimentales. Les riffs de guitare et les voix forment des volutes et des tapis sonores servis par le groove de la section rythmique. Un mur du son sur lequel se posent délicatement des voix étranges et éthérées qui racontent une époque ou les lendemains ne passent pas toujours sans pilule.

Pills For Tomorrow is an Indie Pop band with Shoegaze & Psychedelic accents from Grenoble (France). A musical universe as an alternative to painkillers. An invitation to a transcendental mystical and soothing experience.
Formed in 2021 around Laurent Gouviaux (Guitar) and Nathalie Valion (the group was then called Moleskine), two EPs were self-produced the same year.
The first “Confidence” offers minimalist dream pop tinged with electro. The second “Memories” presents more intimate lyrics and more present guitar riffs.
In 2022, change of name, the pieces evolve: the shoegaze style asserts itself, they take on a more soaring dimension and Nathalie unfolds her nonchalant flow.
In 2023 Nicolas Delmas (Drummer), Laurent Prost (Bassist) and Fabrice Brechenmacher (Guitar) join the project. The group then produced several concerts and prepared the release of a new opus: 6 pieces were recorded in April including an adaptation of "Shadowplay" in homage to Joy Division.
Shoegaze and neo-psychedelic influences (BJM, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Mogwai, Spacemen 3, The Black Angels...) are obvious and fully embraced. The sound of Pills For Tomorrow is a complex and rich tapestry. The band mixes elements of synthpop, new wave and alternative rock with experimental undertones. The guitar riffs and vocals form swirls and carpets of sound served by the groove of the rhythm section. A wall of sound on which strange and ethereal voices delicately arise which tell of an era where tomorrows do not always pass without pills.
